Course costs £30 - we recommend you also purchase a copy of Tom Smiths New Cricket Umpiring and Scoring (2004 Jubilee print incorporating the 2003 changes to the 2000 Code of the Laws of Cricket) .


Membership of the ECB Association of Cricket Officials is not mandatory but highly recommended if only for the free insurance cover and free CRB check which all Umpires and Scorers must now hold in order to officiate any game. You should bear in mind that membership of ECB ACO is manadatory if you intend umpiring ECB controlled matches. Membership currently costs £20 per year.
