Sussex ACO acts as an umbrella organisation for the three Associations within East and West Sussex. We represent local umpires and scorers on the Sussex Cricket Board, organise dates of training courses for umpires and scorers to ensure an even cover across the counties and organise a panel of umpires for County representative matches.

Information for Scorers

"Grandfather" rights for scorers

Level 2 is open to NON ACO members, with a current DBS, who can show a minimum of three years scoring at a good level, have knowledge of laws affecting scorers and are aware of different types of scoring.

Scorers' Courses

  • Introductory scorers course at West Chiltington CC on August 30th, tutor Peter Harding, Fee £20.00 pp (50% to SACO)
  • Introductory scorers course at Horsham CC on September 13th
  • Introductory scorers course at West Chiltington on November 8th
  • Level one scorers course at Hove Saturday January 15th 2015 (Provisional)
  • Total Cricket Scorer/Linear Scoring course at Hove (TBA)
